I finally got the call — I have to report for jury duty on Tuesday. Other than the need to report after 8:00 am and to not bring a cell phone, I have no real idea what to expect. So I’m going to bring a book, a notebook, and try to take notes on the experience.
As I wrote previously, I don’t think it likely that I’ll be empaneled, but you never know. I’m just hoping I’m not sequestered. I should have some interesting follow-up after this is done!

This is the time when you buy a lottery ticket! I did when I was called. Unfortunately, my jury luck did not help picking the correct numbers.
But it was worth a try!!!! Even though I hate to admit it, I did have fun. It was a different kind of experience. Quite nice not to have to deal with surly teenagers for a change.
Enjoy sitting around – you will be doing plenty of it either way. Hope for comfy chairs!
